Independence Park is located on Morgantown Road just North of Center Grove High School. Independence Park provides picnic shelters, walking trail, restrooms, gazebo and an all-accessible playground on a beautiful 13.5 lot that is open year around from dawn to dusk.

There are 3 shelters available for rent at Independence Park. Each shelter rents for $35.00 per day (Price includes tax). The Gazebo, located in the center of the park, cannot be rented for exclusive use.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL ROOM & SHELTER RESERVATIONS ARE RAIN OR SHINE. Refunds cannot be given because of weather conditions. Credits on accounts are ONLY possible when PRIOR NOTICE is given (at least 24 hours ahead) because of an emergency. All credits will be subject to approval by the Park Superintendent.
CASE Shelter– The Case Shelter is on your right as you come up the hill in Independence Park. The Case generally has four to six picnic tables, with a capacity of about 40. There are a couple sites next to the Case for parking, the rest are up the hill in the main lot. Parking in the grass is not permitted.
The REMC Shelter is located to the right of the playground if you are facing the playground. It is nearer to the swings and the restrooms. There are generally six picnic tables in the shelter and it has a capacity of about 45. There is no parking immediately next to the REMC Shelter, but the parking lot is very, very close. Parking in the grass is not permitted.
Bargersville Utilities Shelter– The Bargersville Utility Shelter is located to the left of the playground, nearest to the toddler playground. There are generally six picnic tables in the shelter and it has a capacity of about 45. There is no parking immediately next to the Bargersville Utility Shelter, but the parking lot is very, very close. Parking in the grass is not permitted.
