Johnson County Parks & Recreation is happy to announce that they will be collecting imagery of local trails and pathways in partnership with Google Maps. Indiana Park and Recreation Association is borrowing their Trekker camera equipment and sharing it with parks in Indiana to hike around unique and amazing locations. The images will be submitted for processing and future inclusion as panoramic images that everyone can see and enjoy on Street View in Google Maps. We’ll be at this for a while, but stay tuned for announcements from Google and Indiana Park & Recreation Association as we launch this exciting program. For more information and to view images previously taken with Google Trekker, follow this link: https://www.google.com/maps/about/treks/#/grid
